Population and Environmental Psychology Bulletin
The Division 34 newsletter, Population and Environmental Psychology Bulletin, is published two times a year. It is an unrefereed forum for the sharing of new, ideas, and opinions in population and environmental psychology. There are two issues per year, Fall and Spring, and the deadlines for submissions are around the middle of October and May (respectively). The Spring issue typically contains the abstracts of papers people plan to present at the APA convention. Division members are encouraged to submit news/announcements, opinion pieces, brief research reports, and other articles to the Bulletin. If you are interested in contributing to PEPB, contact the editor.
In this issue, you will hear about Toni Falbo, Ph.D., the recipient of the 2007 Division 34 professional achievement award, and you will learn about the Graduation Pledge of Social and Environmental Responsibility that many university graduates are promising to uphold. There are also articles about APA International and the APA Science Directorate, as well as the usual briefs on members' research. Finally, this issue includes several Division news items that resulted from meetings held at the APA Convention. Members are asked to vote on several of the items. Don't forget, the APA 2008 deadline is fast approaching! Make sure your students know that the Division will award a student achievement prize this year!!
